FATE / Scratch‘n Sniff (21.03.2005)

After „A Matter Of Attitude“ of FATE, MTM MUSIC managed to get another jewel to the MTM CLASSIX-Serie: „Scratch’N Sniff“. The CD was completely digital remastered and features two unreleased bonus tracks „Just A Stranger“ and „Don’t Do Drugs“. FATE was founded in 1985 by former MERCYFUL FATE guitarist Hank Sherman with former MAXIM vocalist Jeff Lox Limbo, bassist/keyboardist Pete Steiner and drummer Bob Lance. 3 weeks after they first met as FATE - they had a record contract! In 1986 they released their untitled debut guested by Michael Denner (ex KING DIAMOND/MERCYFUL FATE) and produced by long-time MERCYFUL FATE engineer Henrik Lund. During their carreer the band had a lot of line-up changes, released “Matter Of Attitude”, "Cruisin' for a bruisin'" and returned in a revitalised version in 1990 with the album "Scratch'n Sniff". Last year FATE announced their reunion on the first live performance after a long time: on 24th of July 2004 they performed with label collegues DARE and TNT the DEEP IMPACT Open Air Festival.

DARREN SMITH BAND / Keep the spirit alive (2005)

Darren Smith founded DARREN SMITH BAND (former drummer of HAREM SCAREM) on guitar and vocals and Mike Hall from KILLER DWARFS and HELIX on lead guitar. Stan Miczek formerly of HONEYMOON SUITE and Sass Jordan on bass and Pat Carrano, an unseen gem up until this point and Darren's only choice as drummer pounding the tubs. Combined the band has over 80 years of experience playing everything from Rock ‘n’ Roll, Jazz, and blues. DARREN SMITH BAND swings back to simpler times in Rock ‘n’ Roll and has stepped outside the trappings of politics and religion. Life is about working hard and having fun and DARREN SMITH BAND has embodied these ideals and delivers, to those of us who still look to the easier points of life, a message that will help keep our heads in a world that seems to be crashing in all around us. Music is a lot of things and escape seems the finest of them all. The album was produced by the main man Harry Hess of HAREM SCAREM.

ANGELO PERLEPES' MYSTERY / Destiny (2004)

"Destiny" is the fourth album of the one and only neo-classical metal band from Greece, Angelo Perlepes' Mystery. Angelo Perlepes is a great admirer of guitarists like Ritchie Blackmore and Yngwie J. Malmsteen. Angelo's compositions are still a mix of classic hard rock bands like Rainbow, Deep Purple, Dio and neo-classical bands like Rising Force and Concerto Moon. Mid and up-tempo hard rock/metal songs with a lot of attention for great neo-classical guitar solos.
